Mamamia Women's Network Announce Writing Competition to Support ILF
Calling all budding wordsmiths!
The Mamamia Women’s Network (MWN) & HarperCollins have announced a competition to find the best new talent in Australian writing - and even better, the $10 entry fee takes the form of a charitable donation to our Foundation.
Dina Kluska, Senior Features Editor said that Mamamia was delighted to choose the Indigenous Literacy Foundation as its charity partner to help the next generation of young Australian writers around the country get their start reading, writing, and illustrating their own stories.
Submissions close at midnight on Friday, 25 September, and you can find submission guidelines on the Mamamia website.
“Parents, carers, elders and brothers and sisters are reading to their younger ones. It’s great to see a big mob of children sitting around one older person who is reading to them. It also helps with bonding and attachment with the little ones. It’s a fantastic resource.
