Buy tickets here to Epic Good Foundation's 'Kick On' Brisbane fundraiser with all proceeds going to the ILF
Ever wanted to see yourself in a book? Well here’s your chance to name a character in Anita Heiss’s new children’s novel. This is just one of the many great prizes on offer in the Kick On online charity auction.
The Epic Good Foundation and Anita Heiss are hosting Kick On, an evening of music, entertainment and prizes, with all proceeds going to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
The fundraiser takes place in Brisbane on May 27, on the night of the AFL Sir Doug Nicholls round and the start of National Reconciliation Week.
With music performances by internationally renowned didg-fusion musician William Barton and local singer-songwriter Georgia Corowa, the evening will kick on into the night – for literacy.
There are some great prizes to be won. They include original art by Michael Leunig; a Troy Cassar-Daley guitar; signed Hawthorn Guernseys; and a bookclub visit from multi-award winning author Kate Grenville!
Bidding for the auction has launched. The goal is to raise $20,000 to buy books for Indigenous children in remote communtiies.
