Network of Caring, a US-based philanthropic organisation, has committed $40,000 over a 12 month period to support the work of The Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
The Australian arm of the organisation is managed by Lucrieta McCarthy who said their organisation was very proud to be involved with a charity that was making a significant difference.
Network of Caring believes many successful business leaders and organisations want to support and are looking for charities that make a difference in the lives of individuals.
Over 420 Australian businesses and philanthropic individuals from all fields and professions contribute to Network of Caring
Funds donated would go towards supply of books and literacy resources to remote communities and will help sponsor a field trip in 2013.
