The Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF) is a fully fledged independent charity
that operates with the support of The Australian Book Industry. It operates under
a Board and employs an Executive Director and Project Co-Ordinator who are based
in Sydney and an Indigenous Literacy Program Manager based in Darwin.

2005-2010 the Indigenous Literacy Project was run by a small and dedicated committee
that provided expertise, resources and management of the project together with part
